Lending Library

We have an amazing, sexy lending library full of books on topics ranging from female and male sexuality, sex and politics, contraception, and how-to guides, to queer issues, erotic art, sex and religion, and erotica. (We even have a water-proof book of aqua erotica!) For a full list of the books in our lending library check out the bookshelf in the "SHRC at Queen's" Facebook profile. For a deposit of $10, you are welcome to take out books for up to two weeks. Bring the books back and we'll hand you back your deposit.

Information Pamphlets and Community Resources

In addition to our library, we have a number of pamphlets with information on community resources, STIs, HIV/AIDs, pregnancy options, and oral contraceptives. We also have a vertical file system of recent and historical articles on a wide variety of sexuality and sexual health-related topics. This is great resource for essays and projects. A sexpert will be happy to help you find the information you need. These articles can be photocopied, but not removed from the centre.

Abortion Accompaniment Service

The SHRC offers a confidential support service if you opt for an abortion. One of our volunteers will accompany you to the clinic and back.
