Queen’s Rotaract

Service Above Self

Members of Queen’s Rotaract have many interesting volunteer opportunities available to them!  Here is what our volunteers are doing this year...

Rotaractors help prepare, serve and clean up after meals at this local Kingston soup kitchen!

Volunteers are matched to a friend with special needs and engage weekly activities with them, such as going to a movie, swimming, skating and much more!

Volunteers participate in various activities including afternoon pub days, singing, dancing, gardening and many others at this Kingston senior citizen’s residence!

Volunteering Opportunities

The Easter Seal Society of Ontario focuses on helping children with physical disabilities achieve their individual potential and future independence. Each year Queen’s Rotaractors attend this fun event, helping out answering phones and organizing behind the scenes!

Help out at the Alzheimer’s Society by either volunteering your time to help with clerical work in the Kingston office or by visiting elderly patients with mild Alzheimer’s in their homes!

St Mary’s is a palliative and geriatric care facility located very close to our campus!  Volunteers spend time with various patients and also help out at events such as bingos, craft time, physiotherapy and more.
