Our Queen’s Travelers (from left to right): Eoin, Kailea, Emily, Tessa, Roopam, Christine, Rachael, Sarah and Sandy

In order to raise the funds necessary for such a large project, the Queen’s Rotaract Club worked hard all year!  Our fundraising events included:

w Silent Auction

w St Patrick’s Day at The Ale House

w Ten Thousand Villages Coupons

w LCBO Days

Travelers also collected school supplies, toys, clothing, dental and hygienic supplies to bring with us to El Salvador as donations for the orphanages and the community of Lake Coatepeque.

The Queen’s Club also received a very generous donation from our sponsoring Rotary Club, the Kingston Rotary Club!

Donations were also made to the project from private sponsors and other Rotary Clubs including the Cataraqui Rotary Club, Frontenac Rotary Club, District 7040 Rotaract Representative Fund, Rotarians in the district and other sponsors.  Thank you to all of our sponsors!
