Queen's Tae Kwon Do

A Message to Prospective Students

The choice of a school of martial arts is a personal decision that must take into account the fit of the teaching emphasis of the school with the personal goals of the student. It is our belief that the Queen's Tae Kwon Do club and American Kang Duk Won provide an excellent training experience to our members:

High quality instruction
Classes are supervised by four accredited black belt instructor. They cover basic techniques, forms (scripted fights), self-defense, and sparring (light-contact combat). Students progress exercises and techniques at a pace appropriate to their experience and aptitude but need only participate in activities with which they are comfortable.
Convenient and Affordable
Located in the PEC on campus, our Tae Kwon Do classes are as convenient as attending your academic classes. Club dues are extremely affordable and financial considerations should not prevent anyone from joining.
Affiliation with American Kang Duk Won
As a member of American Kang Duk Won, you will also have the opportunity to participate in enrichment opportunities including an annual tournament, a training camp held over the summer, and seminars on advanced techniques and weapons.

The past events section of this site provides more information on the activities available to students.

If you would like to know more about our club or are interested in joining, simply show up to any of our regularly scheduled classes (see the schedule). You are welcome to try a few classes before deciding if you would like to join.
