Event Coverage

Queen's First Aid is available to provide an on-location first aid presence to events both on and off campus. Depending on the need we can send anywhere from two to ten of our volunteer Responders to your event. There is no fee for this service as all of our members volunteer their time to ensure that your event is a safe one.

How do I request coverage of my event?

Print this form and drop it off at the AMS Front Desk in the lower level of the John Deutsch University Centre. Complete the online request form in full to be considered. If you do not hear from us in a few days email us at qfa@ams.queensu.ca to confirm receipt of the request.

Applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event in order to ensure equal consideration for coverage. Requests submitted less than seventy-two hours will not be eligible for coverage.

NOTE: As QFA's resources are limited, submitting a form does not guarantee coverage.

How much does coverage cost?

There is no fee for this service! However, since our Responders are volunteers we ask that a mean be provided to them if the event lasts longer than four hours. QFA does accept donations after event coverage. For more information about donations contact Kevin McGill, Director of QFA.

What kind of events does QFA cover?


QFA covers all type of events, ranging from Semi-Formals, Sporting Events, etc. Essentially any event: with large numbers of people, physical activity, or which serves alcohol.
