What sets a canoeing expedition apart is that it purifies you more rapidly and inescapably than any other. Travel one thousand miles by train and you are brute; pedal five hundred miles on a bicycle and you remain basically bourgeois; paddle one hundred miles in a canoe and you are already a child of nature”
  Pierre Trudeau

Summer trips with Camp Outlook begin in late June and continue through August. Surrounded by the spectacular beauty of Algonquin Park you will embark upon an incomparable camping adventure. Gorgeous sunsets, fantastic wildlife, and cooking hot dinners over a campfire are

only a few of the experiences you will encounter. The summer session consists of several canoe trips that run 8, 10 or 12 days. The 12 day trips are reserved for recommended returning campers. The length of the trips allows for a challenging, yet thoroughly enjoyable time. Referral and camper applications can be accessed here on-line when summer applications are available

in the spring, but both referral and camper applications must be submitted together. Referees must be social agencies or schools.
