MISSION STATEMENT

OUR MISSION

Habitat for Humanity mobilizes volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promotes homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. Habitat for Humanity envisions a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.

The Habitat for Humanity Queen's University Campus Chapter will coordinate our members’ efforts and resources to achieve our mission at home and abroad.


WHO WE ARE

The Habitat for Humanity Queen's University Campus Chapter is a sanctioned student-led group and one of 22 campus chapters across Canada under Habitat for Humanity Canada and part of Habitat for Humanity International.

WHAT WE DO
Habitat for Humanity is a charitable, volunteer-based organization dedicated to the elimination of poverty housing by building homes in partnership with families in need. Habitat for Humanity builds simple, decent, houses and provides interest-free mortgages to families in need. The Habitat for Humanity homeownership program provides a long-term solution and breaks the poverty cycle.

The Habitat for Humanity Queen's University Campus Chapter is committed to eliminating poverty-housing world wide.
