The Sounds of the Bands

All of this music comes from our compact disc, Queen's Bands: Past, Present and Future, which is available at all alumni events which we are present for and at the Queen's Campus Bookstore.

It is hard to believe that a small ensemble of no more than 15 students back in 1905, could have grown into a 120 member marching band which survives to this day.

This compact disc was designed to commemorate the establishment of Queen's University's own Queen's Bands, and to acknowledge members, students, faculty and the community for their support and dedication to the Bands for nearly a century. It is a compilation of songs from the past and the present, along with songs we feel will be a part of the Queen's Community for generations to follow. The intensity of the pipes, the thundering of the drums and the fanfare of the brass will sweep you back to the years you spent watching football games, parades and other timeless events in the midsts of the sounds of the Bands.

To put it simply, we would like to thank friends, family, and of course alumni, past, present and future for making this compact disc possible.
